If you select to be considered for an EIC, please submit the additional documents via e-mail to EIC.SHVM.2010@heartmetabolism.org -- detailed instructions are available here. Applications for this award that are not accompanied by the required documents will not be considered.

You are encouraged to type all the fields in this section (Title, Authorship, and Text) since text pasted directly from Microsoft Word (or other text processors) can sometimes be corrupted. You may use standard word processor formatting such as italic, underlined, super- and subscript, as well as special characters (including Greek letters).

 

Title
The title must start in uppercase and continue in lowercase, except for conventional terms (ATP, DNA, NFκB, etc). Example:
   This title is written correctly
   This Title is Not Properly Written
   ALSO THIS TITLE IS WRONG


Authorship
If more than one author, underline your name and use commas to separate the names; do not use 'and' before the last author. Write the names as initials, followed by the surname. If more than one affiliation, use sequential superscript numbers to identify each institution. Example:

Text
Keep the abstract text to within 1750 characters, spaces included (this is roughly equivalent to 250 words). If this text is too long, your abstract submission will fail.
